More often than not, I'm in far too much of a rush to do a full face of makeup first thing in the morning- usually because I lay in bed for 20 minutes longer than I should and end up rushing around and fighting for space infront of the dressing table mirror. So I've become somewhat of an expert when it comes to using as little makeup as possible to make myself look half alive in the little time I have before I go to work.
These five products make it into my routine almost every day and offer pretty good results with little effort on my part.
I start off with concealing any offending blemishes, dark circles or uneven skin with my Clarins Instant Concealer. The reason I love this concealer so much is because a little goes a really long way and its quick and easy to apply with fingers, sponges or brushes - no matter what you use you still get flawless results. This perks up the entire face and the coverage it offers means that I don't feel the need to go in with any foundation. Winner!
Next I head over to the brows, which are the most time consuming step, but to me the most necessary. I don't feel right if I leave the house without my brows. This pencil from NYX is so quick and easy to use, and gives a really polished and natural finish.
Moving on to blush - a step that my ghostly pale skin cannot skip, otherwise I look like a zombie. The Stila convertible colours are something I think every girl should have in their makeup bag. A gorgeous create, this is best applied with a light finger patted on the cheeks and sheered out for a dewy finish. It doubles up as a lip product too and when worn on both, it ties the entire face together.
Benefit's they're real mascara primer. I really like this, you can read my full review here. It gives definition, length and life - a great natural mascara.
Last but not least is my firm favourite, my EOS summer fruits lip balm to finish.
Bright eyed and bushy tailed - off to work I go!
