This one was a delightful surprise for me. I’m not too sure how it found its way to my door mat – I think I may have sent off for a free sample, but I wasn’t in much of a rush to use it because fake tan has never really been my thing.
I’ve always had a problem with dodgy application – more down to my technique than anything else and whilst I’ve found some pretty decent gradual tanners in the past, they just require abit too much effort for me. So with that in mind, I normally make do with being ghostly pale for most of the year.
Having a nice little pamper session last week, I thought I’d slap some on and see what would happen. The application was abit weird to tell you the truth. I did all my usual stuff in the shower, shoved on my conditioner and turned off the tap.
With damp skin, I dolloped a goof helping of this all over and waited 3 minutes – or in my case a Beyonce song – and then washed it away.
After the shower I didn’t need to moisturise like I normally would, because my skin was silky smooth to the touch. It was the next day when I realised I had a nice even flush of colour all over.
Bearing in mind that I hadn’t exfoliated before, I only had one dodgy patch on my foot – application everywhere else was seamlessly smooth . You could even be fooled to think I had been away for a long weekend.
The results were subtle – but after 4 or so days I did notice the tan had faded which made me a little sad. So much so, I think I’m going to head out and buy this in full size!
Have you tried this from St Tropez? What did you think of it?
