Cohorted Beauty Box: October

Cohorted October Beauty Box

Trust me to get on the Cohorted Beauty Box band wagon the month they decide to switch to a subscription service and hike the price up by £15! (Something I am seriously considering taking up, btw.)

Eagerly awaiting 6pm on the 15th of September, I refreshed and refreshed until this months box went live - everybody goes mad for the Cohorted Beauty Boxes and to be honest, I can't blame them!

As soon as the box was despatched I was tracking it the entire way to my door. For £19.99 I received a box cram packed with full size and delux sized goodies worth a whopping £65.99.

Here's what I got in this months box:

Inside the October Cohorted Beauty Box

Bare Minerals Purifying Facial Cleanser : £15.00
Bare Minerals Purely Nourising Cream : £10.00
Peter Thomas Roth Lashes to Die For : £15.00
Ciate Nail Polish in Serendipity £9.00
Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Hypnotist £16.99

I was excited to see brands I'd never tried before - although I would have liked to see one or two more instead of 3 products from Bare Minerals. I'd heard from Ciate and Bare Minerals before but had never heard anything about Peter Thomas Roth - but this has got to be the stand out product for me. This mascara is literally to die for. The comb is unique with short bristles at one end and long bristles at the other, This allows you to grab each and every lash in a single stroke. It lengthens, curls, lifts and volumises - what more could a girl want?

I'm also in love with the Serendipity polish from Ciate. I need to schedule in a pamper night this week to give myself a mani - I can't wait to try it!

The skin care due from Bare Minerals looks like it will be perfect for the colder months when my dry skin will no doubt rear its ugly head.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lipgloss - this for me is just unwearable. This multi-tonal shade changes depending on the light, from pale purple to a coral peach and gold pearl. I'm sure some people will absolutely love this, but it's just not for me.

Overall, a pretty amazing box. Like I said, I'm pretty gutted that they've increased the price - £19.99 was abit on the steep side for me for a mystery box. But as well as their subscription boxes, they're also offering one off themed boxes which vary in price - definately going to be checking them out!

Did you get this months Cohorted Beauty Box? What did you think of it?
