REVIEW : Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot

Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot - £12
For me, it takes a good amount of time for me to realise how good a product is. It's usually not until I'm nearly or completely out of a product that I feel the sudden panic that I don't have a backup to hand and that there will be a big fat void in my life. That realisation is the exact one I had with this last week (hence why I've not got an interior shot for you guys).

Powder hasn't always been a really important step for me, but as I've gotten older I've noticed that my skin has gotten oilier and make up doesn't last anywhere near as long, so I've been reaching for this one on more of a regular basis,

I'll admit, I was drawn into purchasing this on a 3 for 2 offer on S&G products. I hadn't expected much from it, but ultimately I had it in my basket for free, so I wasn't going to complain.

The reason I love this powder so much is that it doesn't make you look completely flat. You know how some powders just sit flat on top of your makeup, and you look cakey and ghostly? You're not going to get that with this.

It blots and mattifies the areas you want it to without being clingy or cakey. It almost sinks into the skin, and doesn't interfere with the other makeup on my face. It's also great for setting under eye concealor - even ones that like to find their pesky way into my fine lines.

Overall an absolute unexpected winner! Don't you just love it when something completely exceeds your expectations?!

  1. I've only heard good things about this powder and as someone who also suffers from oily skin I clearly need this in my life.
