Free Burberry Mini Lipstick in Sepia

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get my hands on an amazingly cute mini lipstick from Burberry - I couldn't be more excited when this landed through the letterbox.

I'm not much of a high end girl to be honest - mainly because its an expensive taste to have, but also because I think there's loads of amazing products from the drugstore and that you can pretty much get dupes for almost anything there.

BUT it's nice to get a high end treat every now and again - especially when its free!

This is an absolute beauty. For me, its the most perfect 'My lips but better' shade. It's buttery smooth, feels moisturising on the skin and doesn't cling to dry patches. It lasts a pretty good time too - making it ideal for evenings out when you're drinking and eating.

It's made me sooo tempted to buy the full size of this - lets see how long this one lasts me!

First Impressions : L'Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Matte Foundation

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte - £8.99

I've seen a this new Infallaible range floating around the blogosphere for a while now, and since strugglng with excess oil recently, I decided to give the L'Oreal Infallible 24H Matte foundation a go.

This foundation claims to contain mineral micro sponges that help to absorb excess oil, to be waterproof, steamproof without a cakey finish. As the name suggests, it claims to last 24 hours too - but who wears makeup for 24 hours? That can't be healthy.

To me, its quite a medium to full coverage foundation,  its really quite easy to apply and has a real nice finish to the skin. You don't feel like you have a full face on when you're wearing it, which is great when you struggle with excess oil.

I'm pretty confident that the claims are pretty acurate too! I find that oil really is kept at bay throughout the day, it doesn't seem to cake throughout the day and seems to hold up quite well even during a sweaty gym session.

I love the overall look of this on my skin too. Most foundations that claim to be Matte always seem to look quite flat on this skin, but this really doesn't.  I feel it just perks up the skin a little, giving the skin a nice glow - perfect for spring.

Something else I love about this foundation is that its in a squeezy tube. I know most people like a good sturdy glass bottle for their foundation, but with bottles like these theres no spills, no risk of over use and you get to use pretty much all of the product - winning!

After one weeks use, I'm really immpressed wth this foundation - it's definately a new fave. I'm hoping to get my hands on the Setting Spray from the Infallible range too.

Have you tried any of the new Infallible range? Let me know in the comments!

Tania Michele : Holy Grail

Hello everyone! I'm Tania from Tania Michele, and Emma has been lovely enough to let me do a guest post for her! I’ve been chatting to Emma since the end of last year, and she is a total diamond and one of my blogger buddies. SHE ROCKS!! Below is my holy grail product which I use everyday and something I think everyone should try out!

About this time last year, the blogosphere went crazy for this  Micellar Water that everyone was saying was the gospel of beauty in every review I'd read about it. It was almost £5 everywhere that I looked for it, or even worse it was out of stock! However, I eventually found it a few weeks later and you can get it from Boots for £3.33 right now, as it's on offer.

I'm quite pleased with it and it does seem to live up to the hype! I used to be the person who slept in her makeup and only used makeup wipes when bothered, but this has made me actually take the makeup off before bed! Most times I only need to use one cotton pad and a few drops of this to get all the products off my faces, sometimes I need two. I don't wear a lot of makeup anyway, but for nights out I do wear that little bit more that needs a bit more attention when taking it back off.

I've found no problems with it. There is no scent which I am thankful for and does the job I need it to.  I will definitely buy this again once it's used up. I've had this for over a year now and I've still got at least three months worth left in the bottle, so it lasts for a really long time - value for money right there!!

Have you used this and do you like it? Hope you have a great day and keep safe! Thank you for letting me crash your blog Emma!!

Revlon 45 Days Total Colour Care Shampoo & Conditioner

Revlon 45 Days Total Colour Care Shampoo & Conditioner For Sensual Brunettes*

This has to be one of the best colour care shampoos I've ever tried. It almost adds pigments to your hair to deepen and enhance the colour, gives a glossy shine and definitely prolongs the amount of time inbetween colours. With a number of shades in the range, this shampoo aims to enhance your colour and stop it from fading, whilst nourishing, moisturising and reducing breakage to the hair.

I'm not a fan of sulphate free shampoos - I know, I know. Overall they're better for your hair, but I just love a good lather. This shampoo is sulphate free, so I had to get over that but once I did, I loved it. You only need a small amount to get a good wash, it smells great and does a good job, but there's no way it worked as a conditioner for me. I had to slap some of my existing conditioner on to get the tangles out of my hair, but I'm not going to hold a grudge against it for that either.

Once dried, I have a pretty good hair day after using this. My hair looks radiant, full of life and nourished, Who doesn't want glossy, salon look hair? You can defiantly achieve this with this shampoo. Even weeks after you've coloured, using this shampoo means that you won't have a dull hair day. WINNING.

There's loads of shades too:

  • Ice Blondes: For cold and light blonde shades.
  • Golden Blondes: For warm blonde shades.
  • Sensual Brunettes: For brown and chestnut shades.
  • Radiant Darks: For dark and black shades.
  • Intense Coppers: For coppery tones.
  • Brave Reds: For red hair tones

I'm starting to go lighter with my hair now, so I'm thinking of grabbing either the Intense Coppers or Golden Blondes version of this shampoo, it's just that good.

You can pick this up for £12.99 from Revlon's website, here.

Budget Find : Easy Tease Anti Tangle Hair Brush

Easy Tease Anti Tangle Hair Brush Review

Sooo I'm back after a little time off with one of my most exciting purchases of late. Wow Emma, I can't believe you've actually just described a hair brush as 'the most exciting purchase'. You need to get out more. I think that's probably true, but this is a pretty good hair brush.

I've been considering getting a tangle teaser for a while now, but I've always got something else that I fancy spending my £10 that I never bother. But wandering round Home Bargains the other week, I saw this and thought for the sake of £1.99, I'd give it a go.

I'd tried my friends tangle teaser a week or so before I got this, and I have to say, there's really no difference in the effectiveness - the fact that it's got a handle actually makes it better in performance to the tangle teaser,

Easy Tease Anti Tangle Hair Brush Review

It has long and short combs, and literally glides through tangles sooo easily. I've started lightening my hair recently, and that's caused my hair to be a nightmare when I get out of the shower, This has taken away all the pain and untangles the hair within seconds. I've had little to no breakage when brushing when using this, which is incredibly rare for me too. I love it!

The handle is a perfect fit for my apparent "tiny little monkey paws", and compared to the tangle teaser makes it easy to hold. This is just a personal thing, but I HATE the feel of wet hair on my hands, so this means that compared to the tangle teaser, my hand isn't rubbing up against my wet hair. I know, I'm a weirdo.

I also find it easy to help distribute product through the hair - I tend to squeeze any leave in treatment directly onto my brushes (so I don't have to touch my hair) and the fact that it's plastic all over makes it really easy to rinse too.

I absolutely love this! I've just checked if you can get this online, they sell them on Amazon here but for £7.99 - looks like I got a bargain! If you're even near a home bargains, check this out. I don't think you'll be disappointed!
