The Body Shop Seaweed Range

Since starting my new job, I've really been struggling with excess oil, something I've never had trouble with in the past. I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with the air con. Anyway, my skin has been crazy and by dinner time my makeup was barely there, with a pretty disgusting t-zone going on.

I headed over to The Body Shop to see what help they could give. I love The Body Shop. If you need help, the staff are there to assist, but if you don't, they don't pester either. I had a quick chat with the assistant and she advised that their Seaweed range would be a good starting point to get my oily skin back on track.

I know that Essie Button is a fan of this range too, so I gave it a go.

Using the combination of the Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream in the mornings and the Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment in the evenings has pretty much got my skin back to a manageable state.

Coming from a dry skin back ground, this was weird to use at first. The gel like consistency of the day cream was really strange initially, it seemed too thin and water like but once on my face I understood.

Both sink in almost instantly, giving the perfect amount of water and zero shine.

With the overnight treatment, I use this on its own and get in bed, and I wake up fresh faced and non greasy. The day cream goes on after a quick cleanse, sinks in a lost instantly and leaves skin with a perfect base for makeup.

I'm so happy I found something that worked so quickly for me. I've always had problems finding skincare to suit me when having specific skin issues, but this is working amazingly for me.

I'm going to head back to The Body Shop to try out more from the range!
