Iconic 3 Palette from Make Up Revolution

Make Up Revolution Iconic 3 Palette

I know, I know. It's taken me a ridiculously long amount of time to try out Make Up Revolution, but I'm finally there. I placed a cheeky little order with some Birthday money, and I wasn't at all disappointed.

I try not to get drawn into the hype any more. I've done it with a few things (mainly higher end stuff) and always been immensely disappointed, which is why it took sooo long to try this out.

I've really fancied the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette for a really long time, and love the Naked 2 that I already have. But to be honest, I don't wear eye shadow enough to justify spending £30+ on a palette, and the swatches I'd seen of this looked amazingly similar, so for £4 Id be crazy not to try it out.

Shade wise, I can only comment on what other people have said online in comparison to the Urban Decay Naked 3, but they are pretty stunning to say the least.

The quality of the shades is seriously mind blowing - if they can create  a palette like this for just £4 then why aren't other high street brands creating out of this world quality like this?

I gave some of the more daytime shades a test drive and wore these to work one day last week. Whilst the rest of my makeup had faded and slid off my face by 5.30, the shades we're still looking great. Which is a great feat for these, as I rub my face constantly throughout the day. They also lasted quite well throughout my workout too (not that I put makeup on to go to the gym - I'd gone straight from work!)

They are silky, buttery smooth and super easy to apply. A couple of the shades whilst lovely on the lid do have abit of fall out, but nothing that impacts too much on my high overall opinion of the palette.

These swatches we're just one swipe. ONE SWIPE. Seriously impressive colour pay off, longevity and shade range for a £4 palette.

In literal like for like terms, whilst the palette it shorter in width, the shadows are much longer than those in the Naked palette, so I'd safely say they'd last just as long.

I'm going to say my apologies now to my bank balance, because I can feel a pretty hefty MUR order coming up real soon!

Have you tried out much from the Make Up Revolution range? What else should I pick up?
