I'm going to kick the week off with a review of one the best mascaras I've ever tried! I'm pretty sure I'm like decades late to the Maybelline Falsies party, but I can't get over how amazing this is!
Maybelline is a brand I've been trying out much more recently (pretty much due to the offers in Boots) and Its not a brand I'd immediately think of when looking for a new product to try. The brand itself to me comes across as fun and playful and to some extent aimed at a much younger audience, which is why I didn't ever think of it.
I picked this up out of desperation - money was pretty tight at the time and I'd used up all other mascaras I had in my stash, I didn't have the £20 to spend on my then favourite Benefit They're Real mascara, so thought spending £7.99 (on a 3 for 2 offer) wasn't so bad and It would keep me going, Turns out, its pretty darn amazing.
I actually think its better than They're real - not just because of the price. The brush is sooo much easier to work with. It adds amazing length, masses of volume and really separates the lashes. No clumps here, Generally I like plastic brushes, but this bristle brush really has won me over. Initially the formula was abit smudge for me, but if you've read my blog for long enough, you know that I tend to enjoy mascaras more after they've dried out for abit, And now this has had a couple of weeks usage, its perfect.
Unless I get a free sample here and here, or get one as a gift, I don't think I'll be using Benefit's They're Real anytime soon,
The Falsies does a perfect job at more than half the price! Winner!
Have you tried any other mascaras from Maybelline? What should I try out?
Thanks for reading!!
