This review is a real long time coming. I really didn't know how to go about this post. Over spring / summer every blogger and their dog seemed to be blogging about & loving this Gently eye makeup remover from the Body Shop. I really wanted to try it out, even though for me my Micellar water does a pretty fine job of removing my makeup, so I never actually got around to buying this,
I was then lucky enough to win a competition to an event at The Body Shop in the Trafford Centre, and received a mini bottle in a goody bag. I gave it a go the night I got it, and unfortunately I really didn't see what all the fuss was about.
Especially the 'Gentle' claim it seems to make. I have really, really sensitive eyes, so maybe for some people this will be fine, but for a product that claims to be 'Gentle' on the skin to sting and leave me blind for the best part of 5 minutes, I really wasn't impressed.
I also found that for full eye makeup removal, I needed to do abit of rubbing and even then it still didn't all come off.
Just shows that some products don't work for everyone! I've literally not read a bad word about this product, but It just didn't work for me.
I haven't tried alot of the Body Shop Skin Care, but I would like to try more.
