You have to try this! NEW Dry Shampoo from Herbal Essences!

I'll admit it. I've never really had a good relationship with dry shampoo. I'm just not all that clued up on how to use it. Because my hair is so soft and fine it takes an awful lot of product for it to do anything and tonnes of Batiste on dark brown hair just isn't an option.

To be honest, I don't like Batiste anyway (Gasp!). The scents are tacky and too musty for my liking and I feel like my hair is dirty rather than refreshed after using it. This pretty much put me off using dry shampoos full stop, but since trying the new Herbal Essences Dry Shampoos, I'm converted!

There have been alot of brands releasing dry shampoos of late, Aussie and Pantenne spring to mind, but the launch that had little coverage but that caught my eye on the shelf was from Herbal Essences.

Now, I'm pretty sure I'm not overstepping the mark too much by saying that everyone loves the scents from Herbal Essences, right? They just know how to do it when it comes to nice smelling hair care and their dry shampoo is no exception.

I picked up each of these on separate occasions for an introductory price of around £1.50 I think, but I'd definitely be happy to pay full price!

The orange can is the Herbal Essnences Dry Shampoo for Uplifting Volume in Citrus which aims to give volume along with a first day feel. It does exactly that. Aside from the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ALL DAY SCENT this leaves the hair, it does a really good job of giving volume and leaves it feeling fresh, like you've just blow dried it!

Same goes for the Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Dry Shampoo. I didn't see powder build up from either of them, which I think is what the 'Naked' version is trying to get at here. This has a slightly softer, gentle scent to is which also lasts all day, and gives volume where I want it.

Great products! I just mix and match depending on what scent I fancy that day!

Have you tried any of the latest dry shampoos on the market? What should I pick up next?

  1. I have used the Batiste - I like them, currently using a Tesco own one which is just as good. Will try these when next shopping! Mine gets greasy even after day, is a pain! x

  2. Mine isn't too bad for getting greasy. I want more texture and less powder and this gives me just that! X

  3. I love the idea of dry shampoo, but I hate how it makes my hair feel. I will have to check the Clearly Naked one out, it sounds like it might be better for me!
