Mini Boots Haul

It's extremely rare these days that I will venture into Boots without already researching the products I need and what I was going to buy, knowing exactly what to expect from the product, but on this little trip, I did just that!

I decided to venture round Boots whilst waiting for my prescription to be ready and managed to do a little bit of damage to my bank balance. I have to say, I really enjoyed the shopping experience. I had no expectations of what I wanted to get out of the trip, which made me look at some brands I wouldnt normally consider or haven't tried before!

First up, I picked up the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Moisturiser, which actually I had picked up randomly a couple of weeks before, but Dan decided he was stealing that bottle off me, so I decided to repurchase this. I really like it. I feel like it's doing a lot to reduce the amount of oil my skin is producing, it has evened my skin tone and reduced the redness around blemishes. The only thing I'm not keen on is the scent - abit to chemically for my liking, but the pros of this product completely outweigh the cons.

The next thing I picked up was the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser. I've been having quite a few problems with my skin lately and my balm cleansers just didn't give me the stripped feeling I think I needed. This gave me the type of deep clean I was looking for, it striped everything away and helped me treat all the nasty blemishes that I have popping up left right and centre. I know skin stripping isn't the best, and this doesn't give you that tight squeaky clean feel, but it cleans much deeper than a balm cleanser. I'll do a full review on this soon so key your eyes peeled!

I then treated myself to 3 makeup buys, the Skin Luminizer foundation from Max Factor, the Grow Luscious Mascara from Revlon, two products I have heard little about and another lip butter from Revlon. So far so good with all of these. I'm not going to say too much just yet, as I've only had a weeks use out of them, but I definitely think I've found some new faves!

I also gave the now Boots app a try!

Boots are actually getting rid of all of the points machines in store, so soon you won't be able to print off exclusive offers on store, and you'll have to download them to your Advantage card using their app.
This actually works better for me, as I always forget to check out my offers at the machine. It's also great to help you keep track of how you many points you have, so you can get planning on how to spend them!

What have you picked up from Boots recently?

Be expecting to see some more hauls coming up!
