Eyeliner has always been somewhat of a struggle for me, and when trying to create a simple, sexy eye flick, more often than not I end up looking like a bad Amy Winehouse.
I tried everything, from gels, pencils, angled brushes but nothing worked. I couldn't get each side to match without them getting thicker and thicker, and the frustration meant that I just became resigned to the fact that the cat eye wasn't for me.
That was, until, I received this little gem in a birchbox. This is the mini version, which I think actually works even better for me, as the size and shape gives me complete control and precision over where I put the product.
The felt tip style pen ensures that's I don't get too much product in each stroke, and it's thin, tapered edge gives precision enough for you to mark out lightly where you want to go, and can easily fill in the lines abit more pressure. It is perfect to get right into the corner of your eyes, to flicking out wings on the edges, and with practice, an almost fool proof method for a cat eye.
It did take some getting used to, but now I'm pretty much a pro when it comes to doing a cat eye with this.
The only down fall I see is that this could potentially dry out quite quickly. Hopefully that won't be the case, but I will be stocking up on the Glamour mags just to be sure! I might try out their navy one, too.
Have you tried out any Eyeko products?
What is their mascara like? I might try that out, too!
