May 2014 Birchbox Review : Harpers Bazaar Collab

Birchbox have done it again! This box seriously blew me away!

Now I'm not a massive Harpers Bazaar fan to be completely honest with you - I don't really buy magazines unless there's a freebie going. But nonetheless, I was still excited and expecting alot form this months box and it certainly didn't disappoint.

First off, the box design! Wow! Ill definitely be keeping hold of this for storage, it's a beaut!

This months selections were a really nice mix of hair care, skincare and makeup.

So, here's what I got!

  • Benefit's They're Real Mascara - Value £6.80
  • Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - Value £4.42
  • Beauty Protector Shampoo & Conditioner Value (Guesstimate) - Value £2.50
  • Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath & Shower Oil - Value £1.32
  • Soigne Nail Polish - Value £11

Overall Value - £26.04 !! Wow! Just Wow!

First off, I got a mini Benefit's They're Real Mascara which is already my holy grail mascara. I'm about to run out actually, so getting this in my box is perfect timing. This lengthens and adds volume, and works really well to open up your eyes. I love it! You can read my full review of the mascara here

Next up, I received the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish with a muslin cloth. This is a must have for lots of people, I know, but I have NEVER tried this! I love my No7 cleanser, but it will be nice to see how this matches up! I've heard nothing but good things. I might take this on holiday with me?

I also got the Beauty Protector Shampoo and Conditioner - I don't know too much about these to be honest, but they smell lovely, and I love their oil, so I'm excited to try these!

I also got a tiny sample of the Aromatherapy Associates Review Morning Bath & Shower Oil, which is OK I guess, but this is the second sample of this I've had from Birchbox. I haven't used up my last one yet, because I don't have a working bath, and I use other things in the shower. I have however used it as a hand and foot soak mixed with water during a pamper session which worked really well. I love the scent, although it makes me sleepy rather than revives me!

I also got a full size polish from Soigne, in a gorgeous beige shade. The consistency is really good, and one coat is almost enough, but you know me, I will always whack another one on for ultimate colour pay off.

I was super impressed with this months box! Every month now as soon as I get my box, I'm soo excited to see what I'll get next time around!

I'll be on holiday for my June box arrival, and probably wont be looking at Box Spoilers, so that's even more exciting!

AND I've finally got £20 worth of Birchbox points - What do you recommend I buy from their store?

If you haven't signed up yet, you need to!
