Only on the very rare occasion do I line my waterline.
When I was younger, I'd go through a Rimmel Kohl black Eyeliner a month during my 'mosher' phase (I was a Mosher, not an Emo. Of course there's a huge difference)
Even then, I had extremely watery eyes, so I'd constantly be topping up my waterline and adding to the growing black eye bogey in the corner of my eye - cute, I know.
Now, its only on the odd occasion that I bother with eye liner - a night out maybe, but even then, I know I'm in danger of crying and/or beer spills.
The photo below is a perfect example of why I should probably forget about the eye liner on a night out - a friend sprayed Archers & Lemonade onto my face (out of a smuggled in water bottle...classy) which resulted in a lesser drunk friend fixing my makeup for me. Oh dear!
So watching some old Vivianna Does Makeup videos on Youtube (Go check her out!) she was raving about Rimmels answer to looking wide awake - a nude kohl eyeliner. Armed with some Boots vouchers, I thought I'd give it a go.
The formula is so smooth and creamy, so glides onto my waterline like a dream. It's an instant pick me up to the entire face - to everyone else, it would appear that I had a full nights sleep and I look alert and awake. To me, I look a little less dead and at first glance, it would be impossible to tell what makeup trick I had used to attain this look.
Because its nude, it doesn't draw attention to your water line like a white eyeliner would. It creates the illusion of having wide awake eyes without being too obvious.
It's staying power is also pretty good - for someone with extremely water eyes 'Pretty Good' is about as good as it's going to get!
The Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner in nude is a bargain at £3.99, and the ultimate trick to widen tired eyes!
