Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer £3.99
I didn't have a post for last week, because I've recently posted about my favourite foundation, which you can read here.
Since I've done a couple of mammoth Boots hauls recently, I've been trying out quite a few new products, and this concealer is one of them. At first, I thought this was rubbish. It had been compared as just as good or even better as it's high end versions like the YSL Touché Éclat, but it really didn't blow me away for the first week or two. I bought it to combat my undereye area, and this barely gave any coverage, but at the time I had some serious dark circles. I was expecting miracles, and thinking back, all I needed was a good couple of nights sleep.
Now my eye bags are back to my normal baggyness rather than super baggy, it's doing a great job.
It has salmon undertones, great for countering the blue tinge I always have under my eyes. It's really creamy too, and blends really well. The coverage is quite light, so I don't find any cakeyness or find it settling into fine lines. It does brighten the area too, but I can't compare it to YSL because I've never used it.
The only thing I don't like about it is the click twitter dispenser - this packaging feels really flimsy and cheap, but I suppose for £3.99 I can't complain too much.
Overall, I wouldn't expect miracles from this, but as an everyday concealer for the average eyebags, I don't think I'm going to reach for anything else!
Have you tried this? What did you think?
