Thanks a latte...

I was sent this box by Benefit as a 'sorry' for a previous issue I had with them recently. It was very greatly received, as a simple sorry would have done, so I am very grateful.

The thing I love the most about this box is the eye products, which is what I'm going to focus on today. I'll review the other products in another post when I've made my mind up about them!
The overall theme of the box is 'bronze' which isn't something I try to achieve to be honest - I'm deathly pale, so I think id look ridiculous! But there's no reason I can't channel bronze goddess through my eye makeup.

I've never used any of Benefits eye shadow before, so a cream and pressed powder shadow combo gave me the chance to try brand new products. I was amazed at the quality because I have never heard or read reviews on any benefit eye products.

The first shade in the box are 'Thanks a latte', a long wear powder eye shadow, a gorgeous golden bronze. I have others similar to this, but once on, it can be blended out to be really subtle, or built up to be a strong smokey eye and its not too harsh against my pale skin.
I use this on my outer corner and blended into the crease, over the top of the other shadow i received on the box - 'Bikini Tini'

Bikini tini is a gorgeous creaseless cream shadow, a peachy pink pearlesque colour, the type of colour I often search for as a base for nearly all my makeup looks. This cream shadow literally amazed me. It did not budge, not one bit. The colour payoff is really good, didn't fade throughout the day and worked a as a brilliant base for thanks a latte to grab onto.

I've been wearing this look for work. It's not too over the top, really subtle and versatile, but I'll be incorporating these shades into some other looks too.

I'm going to check out don't more of the cream shadows, because this base is exactly what I've been looking for.
