January Birchbox...Tiny Tweaks
This months Birchbox is themed Tiny Tweaks, a box which aims to help us stick to our beauty resolutions of 2014 by making tiny changes to make a big difference.
The products I received in months box were the Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer (worth - £3.52), Benefit The Porefessional (worth- £8.38 ) Vasanti Detox Nutrient - Rich Purifying Facial Cleanser (worth £2.50 - ) Lavera Basis Sensitive Hand Cream (worth - £1.18) Premae Anatomy Nutrients Instant Renewal Body Oil (worth - £1.90 ) Itsu Miso Soup (worth - 75p).
Overall worth of the box: £18.32 Cost of the box : £12.95
Again, I was abit disappointed in this box - other than the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer and Benefit Porefessional (which i already own) I'd never heard of any of the brands and they aren't really things I'm interested in either. The thing that annoyed me the most about this box is the size of the samples - all are pretty small, especially the Elasticizer. In a previous beauty box, I got a 40ml sample of this, so to get a 20ml sample just pissed me off when I'm already unimpressed with their offerings.
The soup - not my thing - I'll be giving it to a friend. The other items I of course I have a use for, but I have loads of alternatives which already doing a pretty good job. It's nice to have extra of the products I already love, but still, id like to see something exciting and new.
I think I'm going to see what comes in the February box and if I'm still disappointed, I'm going to end my subscription.
