If you are like me and find that your makeup has headed south by the end of the day, you need to invest in cream blushes.
These are a fairly recent revelation of mine and I have to say, I have fallen in love! I have only tried two brands of cream blushes, ELF and Bourjois, but I have swatched a number on the back of my hand when I've been down at the shops, (Max Factor, Stila) and I've been waiting on my bank balance to cheer up before splurging on some more!
Of the blushes I have, the staying power is amazing! Even in the recent (freak) British summer we have been having, my makeup is staying put for a lot longer than it usually does. The two brands I use are a cream to powder formula, meaning they are creamy to the touch but turn powdery on the skin, not sticky or shiny. Both are really easy to blend, either with your fingers or a buffing brush and sit on my skin really well, sinking in nicely.
Personally, I use these alone as the colour payoff is phenomenal and a little really does go a long way - but you can set the colour with a powder blush to really make the colours stay put for even longer!
Both of these brands are reasonably priced if you are just trying out if cream is right for you! I've got my eye on the Stila Convertable Colours, I need to find a way to justify spending £16 on one blusher. I'm sure ill find a way!
